Gas bottle replacement from $155

It’s easy to switch your bottled gas supplier. Simply open an account with us, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Sit back while we exchange your old cylinders, returning your existing cylinders to your previous provider.

If your old gas bottle has expired and is not in date, bring it in to us and we will dispose of it safely.

New gas installation 

If you’re setting up a new gas supply, your gas fitter will install your connection and fittings. When they’re ready to test, you can call us for a quick gas bottle delivery (our most common order for new set-ups is 2x45kg bottles). The fitter will test the supply, and you’ll be good to go.  

Or, if you have your gas fittings already sorted e.g. moved into new premises or home, but you need a gas supplier, just give us a call to set up your next delivery.

Is there a charge for gas bottle rental?

Bottle rental is $56 per bottle, per year.
Or pay monthly, for $5 per bottle per month.
 

How long does a gas bottle last at home?

On average, a customer goes through three 45kg gas bottles per year, depending on how many people are in the house and how long you like your showers.

How do you move large gas bottles?

Our delivery drivers have sack barrows and a tail lift on their truck to make delivery safe and easy, so you won’t have to lift a finger.

Cylinder & Tank FAQs

What size cylinders do you supply? (e.g. 45kg)

We mainly supply 9kg, 18kg and 45kg bottles.

How do I know when my bottle is empty?

The best way is to fill a jug with warm water and pour it down the side of the bottle. Feel down the side where you have poured the water and it will be cold where the gas level is. 

Rocking an LPG cylinder from side to side is not an accurate way to check its gas level.

How do I check my gas level?

Can I own my cylinder?

You can own your cylinder but this means we cannot deliver you a replacement bottle, since that would be one of ours. You will need to bring your bottle to our drive-thru and get it filled.

What happens if my bottle is damaged?

If you damage your bottle you need to contact us soon as possible.

You will be invoiced for the cost of any repairs. You may be able to claim these back under your contents insurance.

Do you refill or swap bottles?

Our sister company KiwiGas provides a refill service at their two drive-thrus, which are located at 22 Hickory Place, Islington, and 7 Southern Cross Road, Rangiora.

We do a home delivery swap where we will swap your 9kg bottles at your home for $37.

Do you supply regulators?

We do not supply any gas fittings.

Do you install tanks?

We don’t do tanks, just delivery of 45kg bottles.
